IMPORTANT:

All trucks must arrive before 10:30 on Saturday, August 2^nd, 2008.

RULES

FOR COMPETITORS REGISTERED IN THE

REGULAR CLASSES FOR THE TRUCK PULL COMPETITIONS

- No modifications will be allowed on the engines except for the original ones (ex: no additional hoses installed)

- Fuel used - DIESEL ONLY. Any other substances will not be permitted due to the «great danger» for yourself and for the public (ex: propane, Ether, Nitrogene N-O-S, Methanol, etc.)

- Verification of the inside of the cab - No modifications or additions of non-identifiable components will be permitted.

- Proof of proper registration - (Québec : 5 & + / Ontario : 40 000 kg & +, all provinces or states)

- Mechanical inspection certificate for a long period (and not short ones).

- Serial number corresponding with all proper documents.

FOR ALL COMPETITORS

- The "SMOKE SHOWS" are no longer being tolerated by the Ministry of Transportation. If you do not follow the rules, you will AUTOMATICALLY GET DISQUALIFIED.

- From now on, every truck competing MUST BE equipped of a protective plaque to protect the fuel tank (ex: joint, driving-shaft...)

- We strongly recommend that the fuel tank be half full during the truck pull competitions.

- Any misconduct or refusal to obey the officials and the volunteers; any alcohol or drugs consumption will result in immediate disqualification of the competitor.

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET THAT THESE ARE AMATEUR RACES DONE

WITH TRUCKS USED FOR REGULAR WORK, THEREFORE WE ASK

THAT YOU BE HONEST AND BE A GOOD SPORTSMAN ABOUT IT!
